THE VISION:

The vision of the Group is to bring the women & Youth of Kenya together and united so as to exert much effort in promoting development and raising their living standards. All these will culminate in eradication of poverty, unemployment eradication, democracy, prosperous society as a whole. 

THE MISSION:

The mission of the Group shall concentrate on pursuit of socio-economic development, promotion of cultural welfare and sensitization of the people to developmental program which will strive to empower community to take charge of their own development, improve access funds, business implementation ideas, to ensure women empowerment through entrepreneurship, engage in agricultural and other socio-economic activities and to enhance peace and reconciliation through intercultural integration.

We offer Start up capital to business, to both women and youths who are capable to manage their finances and educating them on means of food security and job creation as our main pillar to success towards our community and society as a whole.

We also partner with other Stakeholders likeminded on same services we offer to our women and youth.

With its intergreted trend it has brought diverse ability to most of Single mothers who have either lost their husbands through HIV/AIDS or Young Women from the Streets who had been exploited through sexual favours to earn their living to promote their upkeep and livelihoods.

MCMCK’S Mission is being fulfiled as it is becoming not only community based but stretching to areas of whole county of Kenya and with assistance from our partners it has become a recorning affiliate in Women Empowerment and Youth entrepreneuership coming together in one accord.

MOTHER AND CHILD MISSION CENTRE (K)

We as the members of MOTHER AND CHILD MISSION CENTRE KENYA; Grateful to the Almighty God who has bestowed upon us for the golden protections, guidance, wisdom, courage, opportunity and commitment for founding this Group for the development of the people of Kenya as a whole and a replica to other nations with same vision in eradicating poverty through women empowerment and youth through small scale enterprises and other aspects of life changing;

Recognizing the potentiality, desire, creativity and purposeful unity in doing collective responsibilities for our nation, the Government of Kenya,

Appreciating the campaigns for the affected marginalized women members and youth to fight poverty in this country;

Conscious of the need to be organized into Groups, associations to enable everybody to participate in the development, decision making and nation building to better their future and the country,

Recalling the lessons learnt and breakthrough in the process of forming this Group;

Committed as a Group regarded as a public institution, for the purpose of  business ventures among its vision and objectives, and governed by the rules of societies Acts; the members of the group on the adoption of this constitution, shall continue to honor, respect and follow this rules of Groups Act of development approach.

Aware of the emphasis by the Government to form groups to lobby for funds to fight malnutrition diseases, illiteracy and poverty, food insecurity, unemployment,

Cognizant of the national history of Kenya, believing that unity in mind, spirit and ventures is the ultimate goal for development’

We, the founding members of MOTHER AND CHILD MISSION CENTRE KENYA are desirous to establish this Group and shall defend, respect and abide by the provisions of its constitution and other laws that may be provided thereafter.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

To improve the living standards of the target population in all their aspects of life.

 To Support the small scale industries initiated by women & Youth.

To provide a dignified life for women with ideas in business management and both small scale/large scale enterprises all over Kenya.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

1.        To work for unity of women & Youth in Kenya.

2.     To enhance the capacity of MOTHER AND CHILD MISSION CENTRE KENYA administration in needs assessment, project planning and management, monitoring and evaluation.

3. To enhance women & Youth involvement in resources mobilization.

4.     To increase access to services in order to improve the living standards of women & Youth of Kenya in particular local urban set up/rural areas and the people Kenya in general.

5. To run programmes and projects that will enhance food production and support the unemployed youth and the street families so that they could be gainful to themselves and to the society at large.

6. To mobilize resources from its membership community, nationally and internationally so as to meet the objectives of the Group on a systematic and sustainable manner.

7.     To network with other Associations, with the same interests so as to minimize duplication but enhance synergy
